This bundle includes 3 items: (1) Hypro 3350-0060P Nylon Line Strainer with (1) 1700-0057 Buna O-Ring and (1) 3800-0041 Stainless Steel 50 Mesh Screen.
The Hypro 3350 Series Nylon Line Strainers filter out debris that may enter your pump. They are used for suction and higher pressure applications, and are rated for 150 psi at 70° F and 100 psi at 125° F. The caps on the Hypro 3350-0060P Line Strainer / Suction Strainer are made with white type 6 nylon and the bowls are made with clear polyamide material so you can visually inspect without disassembling.
Install the strainer on the pump's inlet side. If using a centrifugal pump, install the strainer on the pump's inlet or discharge side, depending on the strainer's flow capacity, pressure rating, and other installation factors. NOTE: Do NOT use clear polyamide bowls to handle alcohol.
Unscrew the bowl from the cap, remove the screen, and flush sediment away to clean the strainer without removing it from the line. To reassemble, fit the screen to the flange in the bowl and turn hand tight. Do NOT use for fatigue-loading applications (eg. water-softeners).
